In the centennial year for both flight and the Ford Motor Company, this customized package was distributed to 15,000 middle- and junior-high-school principals. Components included two videos, a Teacher's Resource Guide, and several other pieces celebrating Henry Ford's contributions.


Clorox - Clean Up the Classroom
[Elementary Science]

For four years and counting, this Clorox kit has promoted the understanding of bacteria, viruses, and allergies - and made the connection to the value of Clorox products for cleaning and disinfecting schools and homes. Each kit included a video, CD-ROM, 30 student magazines, and a take-home flyer.


CDW*G - All About Computers

Entering its fifth year! Designed to promote the CDW*G name among school technology buyers, this kit featured an informative CD-ROM and an A-Z Guide to Computers. Plus, Discovery Education orchestrated a Win a Wireless Lab sweepstakes to garner even more attention.


PepsiCo - Balance First
[Middle School Health]

PepsiCo's Smart Spot brands sponsored this curriculum kit to coincide with the release of the 2005 Food Guidelines for Americans. It was developed with America On the Move, a non-profit that aims to bring awareness to the benefit of fitness by encouraging simple, everyday movement.


Freddie Mac and The Faith & Politics Institute - Freedom on the Move
[Middle School Social Studies]

This custom kit commemorating important Civil Rights anniversaries was developed to engage today's youth and leverage congressional interest in the Faith and Politics Institute. Discovery Education launched the program with a Capitol Hill reception, featuring members of Congress and the sponsoring organizations.
