Vanderbilt Assessment of Leadership in Education (Val-Ed)

Effective school leadership is one of the core components of successful schools. This course is a full immersion into a research-based tool that provides a 360–degree evaluation of school leaders. Val–Ed program coordinators and principals will be trained for the full product implementation. This includes: organizing when, where, and how the survey will be taken, the execution of the survey, and the analysis of the survey results. Data analysis will focus on survey results to identify strengths and areas for growth of leadership behaviors based on the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium standards.
