Discovery Education Assessment has been useful for me in several ways. First, the assessment provides instant feedback that is easy to read and understand. With the assessments I can guide my instruction to benefit the students. It breaks down the information to the specific Illinois State Learning Standards. The reports are also very easy for the parents to read. I have had tremendous feedback from the parents. They all seem to be very pleased with the reports. As far as the practice probes are concerned, it is very easy to differentiate instruction with the probes. I can create probes for all ability levels in my class. The skill and tools page also gives me great resources to use in the class. The use of the video is also helpful; it puts information in a different perspective to reach all learners in my class.
