Our school faced the challenge of becoming a Program Improvement school due to one of our subgroups not meeting our AYP goals. We sought out an assessment plan that would provide us with the data that would allow us to monitor student progress and adjust our program to support the student success needed. My teachers loved the Discovery Education Assessment Assessments because it did exactly that. When I told them that we would have the assessments again next year, they were so appreciative. The general consensus is that they believe this resource was the most valuable tool they could use as a teacher to get ready for the STAR Test. In late August we will learn if we have met our goals. I am confident that because we used the Discovery Education Assessment Assessment results to guide our instruction that we will avoid this label. Thank you for this resource!
