Kelly Denson

Kelly L. Denson is the Director of Education Policy and Government Affairs for Discovery Communications. In this role, she serves as the primary liaison for Discovery Education on education policy issues, including digital learning, STEM and workforce readiness. Denson has more than 20 years of experience in the education industry and has spoken on variety of education topics for organizations such as the U.S. Department of Education and the American Association of Community Colleges.

Under Kelli's leadership, Discovery Education entered the digital textbook market. Spanning K-12 science and middle school social studies, the Discovery Education "Techbooks" have positively impacted more than 650,000 students and teachers nationwide. Discovery Education's digital Techbooks are designed to replace textbooks as the next generation of core instructional resources for America's classrooms. In 2013, Campbell will lead the company's expansion into digital textbooks for mathematics

Leon Pridgen

Leon currently resides in Mooresville, NC with his wife Gail. Their two children, Leondra and Leon Jr are graduates (2010 and 2012) of the Mooresville Graded School District (MGSD). The MGSD is regarded nationally and internationally as the leader in digital conversion.

Renée Cartier

Renée Cartier's love of international and multi-cultural education continues to be a strong component of her educational platform. Renée was a Middle School World Language Teacher, a District World Language Coordinator and an Elementary School Principal in Northeast Pennsylvania. She worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to write the Pennsylvania World Language Standards and has presented at the state level and internationally on technology infused, high yield instructional strategies to improve second language acquisition.
