Erica White is a seasoned educator with 17 years of experience. She served as an enthusiastic elementary educator for 11 years. She began he career as a First grade teachers in Durham Public School (NC) and also taught in Prince William County Schools (VA) and Montgomery County Schools (MD). Erica worked as in Instructional Technology Specialist in Montgomery County Schools for 4 ½ years before joining Discovery Education in her current role as the Director of Techbook Implementation in 2011.
Erica grew up in the small town of Hillsborough , NC, and currently resides in Washington, DC. She earned a BA in Elementary Education/Math from North Carolina Central University and a MS in Technology of Education from Johns Hopkins University.
