During the immersive virtual experience, students will explore how 3D printing is shaping the future of manufacturing and meet Arconic employees who are using this cutting-edge technology to build high-performance aircraft parts. California’s Fallbrook Union Elementary School District Broadens Partnership with Discovery Education Transforming Instruction Districtwide

Discovery Educator Network Invites Educators Around the Globe to Attend the 2018 Fall VirtCon

(September 19, 2018)– TheDiscovery Educator Network (DEN)invites teachers and administrators around the globe to participate in the 2018Fall VirtConon Saturday, October 20, from 8:45 AM to 2:30 PM ET. A virtual, professional learning conference, this peer-to-peer experience provides a unique, no-cost opportunity for teachers and administrators to learn new, actionable strategies for creating dynamic digital learning environments.

The DEN is supported by Discovery Education, the leading provider of digital content for K-12 classrooms. A global community of education professionals, the DEN connects members across school systems and around the world through social media, virtual conferences, and in-person events, fostering valuable professional learning, idea sharing, networking, and inspiration.

  • Ignite My Future Webisodes: Computational thinking is not just about computers.   • Siemens STEM Day Career Profile series: Available now in Discovery Education Streaming Plus, the Science Techbook and STEM Connect, four new additions to this career profile series feature a senior technical instructor, lathe operator, senior quality engineer, and project manager. Each individual describes how his or her passion, skills, and education paved the way for an exciting career in STEM.
