NFL PLAY 60: Huddle Up and Get Moving! Virtual Field Trip Join the National Football League, the American Heart Association, and Discovery Education for an all-access pass behind the scenes of Super Bowl LIV in Miami as we celebrate the NFL’s 100th season and the importance of a healthy lifestyle! On Thursday, January 30 at 1pm EST, tune into the live NFL PLAY 60: Huddle Up and Get Moving! Virtual Field Trip as we go inside the Miami Dolphins’ Stadium and show students the connections between their muscles, bones, and hearts, and how to keep them strong and healthy. Get your class up and moving as NFL players, cheerleaders, and American Heart Association (AHA) representatives lead students through different physical activities and help teach the difference between balance and flexibility, strengthening, and aerobic activity. Students will also discover specific ways physical activity affects other functions in the body, like improving brain power, lowering the risk of heart disease, and providing more energy throughout the day. For more details about the Virtual Field Trip and free registration, visit our NFL PLAY 60: Huddle Up and Get Moving! website. Huddle to Play It Forward In addition to the Virtual Field Trip, we are also inviting you and your classrooms to be a part of Huddle to Play It Forward. This event is part of the NFL’s Huddle for 100 campaign, celebrating the league’s 100th season with a season-long initiative aimed at getting one million people to donate 100 minutes of their time getting up, getting active, and improving the world around them. Share a picture or a short, 15-second video showing how you and your students volunteer through our submission form or share it on social media to @DiscoveryEd using #GetMovingPLAY60. You even have a chance to interact directly with @American_Heart, @NFLPLAY60, or @DiscoveryEd when you post your experiences to Twitter!
