Home> Molecule

A molecule is two or more atoms joined together (related word: molecular)
Key Context
Think about a drop of water. It’s made up of small particles called molecules. Each molecule has one atom of oxygen and two atoms of hydrogen. If you break up that molecule, it’s not water any more. It would be just oxygen and hydrogen. The atoms have to be together to make a molecule of water. Almost all things are made of molecules, which are made from combinations of atoms.
