Professional Development Virtual Workshops

Remote PD webinars led by one of our Professional Development Specialists, who will tailor the session to suit your school. These can be delivered after school or as part of one of your school professional development days.

One of our PD specialists will deliver an interactive virtual assembly for your children to motivate and engage them to get the most put of the DE services you subscribe to.

Professional Development Virtual Parent Workshop

One of our PD specialists will deliver an interactive virtual workshop for parents to help them understand the value and impact of the DE products and services you subscribe to.

The Classroom Connect Podcast

Our ‘Why to’ podcast is hosted by our Director of Professional Development Andrew Tidswell and Ian Rockey, School Success Advisor and former headteacher. These lively discussions cover a range of relevant classroom topics, some of which feature expert guest contributors. Each episode is no longer than a school break time so can be listened to easily at any time of the day.

Our Professional Development offerings cover everything from specific-product deep dives to workshops on the broader challenges in today’s classroom. If there is a specific topic you’d like to cover in yours, they’re also entirely flexible and can be tailored to the needs of each school.

Teaching Maths in a Digital World

Digital tools can enable us to create rich learning experiences in maths - helping to make concepts more relatable and concrete which in turn helps children to have a deeper more secure understanding. Adapted to suit the resources you have access to this course focuses on how digital can have a real impact on progress, confidence and understanding.

Teaching English in a Digital World

Explore ways that digital tools and resources can open a whole new world of learning in English. Adapted to suit the resources you have access to and the specific needs of your children this course explore creative approaches to classroom practice which will inspire deep learning and confidence in your children.

Immersive Content

Learn how to use Augmented Reality to enhance learning in your classroom. Moving beyond the initial 'wow' of immersive technology this course provides the why and the what next. We will explore how to use Sandbox AR in school to build powerful and impactful learning experiences. Build environments to explore, record these experiences and use them to develop rich content that can, for example, inspire powerful written work.

Bringing STEM to Life

Creating solutions to real world issues builds children's skills and extends their understanding across the curriculum. This course explores ways you can build STEM based projects that use and apply understanding from all subjects whilst giving them the opportunity to recognise, use and develop essential skills such as the 4Cs. (Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical Thinking)

Getting Creative with Coding, AR and Digital

Building authentic, shareable apps can have a lasting impact on children's learning across the curriculum. This course focuses on ways you can use Coding, Augmented Reality and Digital tools to develop children's ability to design and build apps and Augmented environments or media with a purpose to meet creative briefs to enhance their learning across the curriculum.
