Middle School Students Across the United States Empowered with Resources to Spark Sustainable Action Through Discovery Education Experience

SILVER SPRING, Md. (Tuesday, August 18, 2020) – Discovery Education today launches a new effort supported by AT&T, providing innovative, dynamic resources focused on sustainability through the award-winning Experience platform. The new content created by AT&T and Discovery Education focuses on empowering middle school students to spark sustainable action in local communities. Discovery Education is the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources and professional learning for K-12 classrooms.

Centered on the role of technology in building a more sustainable world, the resources from AT&T and Discovery Education provide educators and students the curated content required to learn about environmental sustainability and to act now. The suite of new resources includes two career profiles, two anywhere classroom activities, and a dynamic digital lesson bundle. AT&T is also empowering local communities with critical education and sustainability resources by underwriting 60 licenses to Discovery Education Experience for three school districts chosen by Discovery Education – Robertson Public Schools in Springfield, TN; Pulaski County Special School District in Little Rock, AR; and Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, FL.
