Dr. Linda Clark is a member of the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools and is Superintendent of Meridian School District, the most rapidly growing school district in Idaho.
Dr. Clark joined the district as Superintendent in 2004. She began her career in Idaho education more than 40 years ago, starting as a teacher in Boise. Her love for education began much earlier; she knew she wanted to become a teacher by the age of 5.
Dr. Clark’s progression through different roles as an educator includes a 16-year stint as an elementary school principal. She later became the director of student achievement for the Meridian Joint School District, and three years ago was named superintendent for the district.
Dr. Clark has Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree from Boise State, University of Idaho and University of San Francisco, respectively. She serves on the Governor’s Workforce Council and the State Technology Task Force, and she is chairman of the Idaho State Board of Education’s Data Management Council.
