The Tenth Annual Reading Discovery Program will take place at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center on the campus of Texas A&M University. The program will honor First Lady Barbara Bush’s legacy of literacy and her public service to all Americans. Neil Bush will read about his father, President George H.W. Bush’s personal diplomacy during his service in China as Chief Liaison. Director of Presidential Libraries Susan Donius will explore the roles of Presidential libraries and museums and diplomacy in presidential history. Discovery Education Director of Mathematics Patrick Vennebush will answer questions about digital learning games and educational technology. Moderating the program will be award winning television broadcaster Mike Wright from KBTX and KWTX. There will be a Q&A session via global video conference with students from across the country and overseas. This program also coincides with official launch of “White House Dinner Dash,” the 2017 free interactive learning game app available on Apple (IPhone/IPad), Google Play (Android/tablet), and online at whitehousedinnerdash.com.
