With more than 15 years of experience working in the corporate partnership sector, Kronthal will co-lead the implementation efforts of the division’s corporate education partnership team which provides custom-designed programs offered at no cost in under-funded areas to educators, students and families across the country. In this role, Kronthal will collaborate with like-minded organizations to develop custom-designed curriculum, educator professional enrichment opportunities and project-based learning challenges in under-funded areas such as STEM, health & wellness, workforce readiness, life skills and more. She will oversee all aspects of account services, program development and strategic implementation for Discovery Education’s national partner programs. In this position, she cultivated unique partnerships with companies like Google, Microsoft, CrowdRise, Capital One and Yahoo! to deliver engaging solutions that enabled charitable giving and philanthropy through marketing and social media campaigns. Additionally, she trained and consulted corporations on how to effectively engage in online cause marketing, and implemented employee engagement programs and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. Previously, Kronthal worked as senior manager of strategic account services and interactive marketing at America Online, where she managed the company’s most strategic e-commerce partnerships including eBay, Target and Best Buy, and orchestrated deal structures to meet key partner performance metrics and protect revenue.
