Discovery Education Equity Talks

Thursday, December 9
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM ET

There is nothing more important nor more powerful than the authentic voices of our students reflecting back to us as educational leaders how well we are meeting their learning needs, engaging them authentically, and honoring their voices, history, and contributions.

Join us for a discussion with three Farrington High School students from an urban center in Oahu, Hawaii whose prideful story includes their homeland in Micronesia. They will share their perspective and experiences as Micronesian students in the U.S., their hopes and aspirations, and what else we need to be doing to better uplift the valued histories of our students. You won’t want to miss this insightful and candid conversation!
