We have heard from teachers and district leaders from across South Carolina that the new College and Career Ready Science Standards require a big shift in instructional practices in science classrooms and we are here to support you in that shift. Through a focus on three-dimensional learning, Discovery Education Science Academies will help teachers envision and experience what three-dimensional learning looks and feels like from both the student and teacher perspective. Attendees will also gain a deeper understanding around the importance of this shift in instruction in preparing students for the future.
