Equitable Acceleration Strategies to Move All Students Forward
1:15 PM – 2:00 PM ETAs we enter the new school year, districts everywhere are striving to accelerate learning and maximize engagement while simultaneously addressing the equity gaps exacerbated by the pandemic, including access to devices, connectivity, and community supports for families. With an eye toward equity, superintendents from across the country will share strategies and resources that can be used to accelerate learning for students as well as support all educators in creating meaningful and effective learning experiences.

However, the impact of the pandemic has affected large and small districts disparately and in ways the federal formula may not have accounted for. In this session, leaders from different-sized districts will contextualize their approach to social and emotional wellbeing for their community and share their strategies for engaging students and families for the 2021-22 school year and beyond.
