Take your students on a virtual field trip to the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco to explore the amazing world of design! Autodesk, Inc. is a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software from manufacturing, architecture, building, construction, and media and entertainment industries—including the last 17 Academy Award winners for Best Visual Effects. With over 20 different exhibits regularly on display, the Autodesk Gallery is a showroom of innovative design work that illustrates the role Autodesk technology plays in great design, engineering, and architecture projects.
As a leader in 3D design - to everyday use of photo editing software - students will be exposed to a variety of design software to build their creativity in STEAM-related courses!
Dean Shareski, Educational Technologist at Discovery Education, will host the Autodesk Gallery Virtual Fieldtrip for an up-close look at real-world designs that depend on proficiency in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math foundations. Students will tour the Gallery, participate in Q&A sessions, meet an “Autodesker” whose passion for STEAM subjects helped him secure a coveted job as a manager for some of the most amazing 3D design software available, and experience firsthand how their peers are using FREE Autodesk to imagine what’s next!
