The district is traditionally high performing despite the fact they are 66th out of 67 counties in Florida in terms of state funding. They decided they needed to continue to innovate to meet the needs of their students in an ever-changing world.

With higher-order thinking skills and more understanding of an interconnected world critical to enter the future workforce, Santa Rosa decided the digital transition was a realistic path to improve student outcomes.

Results — Rise to #2 on FCAT

In addition to engaged students and educators empowered with assessment data, during the 2010-2011 school year, Santa Rosa rose to the #2 district in the state of Florida based on FCAT results.
