As the largest school system in the state of North Carolina, Wake County Public School System serves 150,000 students across 169 schools. In order to effectively make a large-scale shift to the technology-based Common Core state standards, Wake County focused onequipping its teachers with the appropriate tools and training to integrate technology into their classrooms using Discovery Education's Digital Leader Corps initiative.

Ohio’s Piqua City Schools enroll 3,700 students who are all eager to explore the world around them. In order to meet the needs of their students, the leadership recognized that they should endeavor to make the district’s curriculum more interactive and engaging.
Mooresville Graded School District and Discovery Education have partnered for nearly a decade to drive innovation in education by providing Mooresville students the highest-quality digital resources. The partnership is producing real results in student achievement, teacher proficiency, and lowered costs.
North Carolina’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) enroll 140,000 students, with 51 percent of those students receiving free and reduced lunches. Working with administrators, classroom teachers, and parents, Discovery Education developed a strategy for GPISD that included motivating digital content and professional development as a key to their digital conversion.
Santa Rosa County Public Schools serve 25,000 students. The district is traditionally high performing despite the fact they are 66th out of 67 counties in Florida in terms of state funding. They decided they needed to continue to innovate to meet the needs of their students in an ever-changing world.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools is one of the largest school systems in the United States. It serves a diverse student population in a city that is a gateway and hub to Latin America and the rest of the world. The Miami-Dade County Public School District leadership realized that today's students have changed, that they needed more access to the world in preparation for their futures, and that schools needed to catch up.
Utica Community Schools in Macomb County, Michigan serves over 25,000 students. It's a district dedicated to their mission, "Every Child Achieves," and they strive each and every day to help every child reach his or her full potential.
