Jacquelyn Freeman teaches 8th grade science in Maryland and has a Master of Education in Educational Technology. In addition to being a DEN STAR, she also serves as a Curriculum Writer, developing curricula for secondary education based on NGSS and student-centered learning strategies, as well as an 8th Grade Science Chair where she leads a team focused on creating innovative, research-based teaching strategies to encourage critical thinking in the classroom.
