Educators Around the World Invited to Attend the Discovery Educator Network’s VirtCon: Fall 2022
Charlotte, NC. (Tuesday, October 4, 2022) — The Discovery Educator Network (DEN) invites teachers and administrators around the world to participate in VirtCon: Fall 2022 on October 11th. A no-cost, virtual, professional learning conference designed for users of Discovery Education’s digital resources, VirtCon provides a unique opportunity for educators to learn new strategies for creating dynamic digital learning environments that keep students and educators connected to learning. The DEN is supported by Discovery Education, the worldwide edtech leader whose state-of-the-art digital platform supports learning wherever it takes place.
Under the theme of “Engaging & Inspiring Learning Everyday,” the Fall 2022 DEN VirtCon features live, community-driven sessions focusing on how educators use Discovery Education’s compelling content to engage students in authentic and diverse ways. Among the exciting sessions planned for 6:30-8:30 PM ET on October 11, 2022, are:
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM ET | Opening Session
During this session, participants will hear from the Discovery Education team about the exciting features and content coming to Discovery Education this fall.
7:05 PM – 7:45 PM ET | Foundations I, II, and III
Designed for either educators new to Discovery Education, intermediate users, or Discovery Education experts, these sessions align to educators’ comfort level with Discovery Education services and dive into tricks and tips for maximizing these resources in your classroom.
7:50 PM – 8:30 PM ET | Community Sessions
During sessions led by members of the DEN, attendees will learn practical ways to use Discovery Education to connect their classroom to the outside world and engage students more deeply in instruction.
